London, UK, 28 May 2019 – Connected Britain – now well established as the UK’s flagship conference and exhibition – is set to break all records when it opens its doors on June 18 at the Business Design Centre in London.
The event – taking place at London’s Business Design Centre from June 18-19 – has doubled in size in each of the five years it has been established and 2019 will feature 200 top level speakers from the UK’s leading operators to public sector organisations, property companies and suppliers.
Those speakers include Openreach CEO Clive Selley, TalkTalk CEO Tristia Harrison, and Three CEO Dave Dyson. Also in attendance will be Theo Blackwell MBE, London’s first Chief Digital Officer, Greg Mesch, CEO of CityFibre and William Priest, CEO of the Geospatial Commission at the Cabinet Office.
“Connected Britain just gets stronger and stronger and has become the definitive platform for all the critical discussion points in moving the UK network forward,” said Total Telecom Managing Director Rob Chambers. “We have more conference streams, a total sell-out of exhibition space and the last 200 tickets have now been issued. Anyone who has an interest and involvement in our network and its future needs to be here next month!”
The event will explore issues such as the progress in deploying FTTx, FTTH, LTE and 5G networks, as well as developments within the digital economy, including how the UK can truly realise the benefits of the digital revolution. The agenda has six conference streams, an addition of two from previous years – Connected Infrastructure and Channel Britain.
More than 50 companies have been shortlisted for the second annual Connected Britain Awards, including operators, altnets, local authorities and vendors.
