Thanks and appreciation is extended to all of you who were able to contribute to the hurricane relief fund set up to assist court employees who suffered losses as a result of Hurricane Ike. The National Conference of Bankruptcy Clerks (NCBC), working with the Federal Court Clerks' Association (FCCA) and the Federal Probation and Pretrial Officers Association (FPPOA), was able to assist about 50 recipients. Although we could not come close to meeting the full financial needs of those requesting, we were able to provide assistance in amounts ranging from $50 to $1,180.

Please know that your support was appreciated and that your consideration played a part in helping other court employees in their efforts to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Ike.
